Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service.

3. Subscriptions & Payments
a) General: Kahu Life is offered under a freemium model. Certain features of the Service are provided free of charge (“Free Plan”), while access to enhanced features and functionality requires a paid subscription (“Basic Plan,” “Premium Plan,” or other offered plans).
b) Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (such as monthly or annually). You will be billed automatically on a recurring basis through your chosen payment method (e.g., Stripe) until you cancel your subscription.
c) Fee Changes: We reserve the right to change our subscription fees at any time. Any fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle. We will provide you with reasonable prior notice of any change in subscription fees to give you an opportunity to terminate your subscription before such change becomes effective.
d) Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy at the time of purchase.
4. Content & AI Usage
The content provided through our Service, including our AI Kōkua (“Animal Intelligence”), is for informational and educational purposes only. You agree to use the information provided responsibly and acknowledge that it is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. You agree not to hold us liable for any decisions or actions you take based on information received through the Service.
5. Community (“Hui”) Features & User Content
Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share, and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, or other material (“User Content”) within our “Hui” community features. You are responsible for the User Content that you post to the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.
By posting User Content, you grant us the right and license to use, modify, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such User Content on and through the Service. You retain any and all of your rights to any User Content you submit. You agree to adhere to our Community Guidelines, which are a part of these Terms. We reserve the right to remove any User Content or terminate user accounts for violations of these guidelines.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable local or federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, including but not limited to the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combatting Rumors and Cybercrime and UAE Federal Law No. 16 of 2007 on Animal Welfare.
- Engage in any form of harassment, abuse, or hate speech.
- Post or transmit any content that is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading.
- Violate the privacy of others, including posting images of individuals or children without their explicit consent.
- Infringe upon any third party’s intellectual property rights.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Radical Thinking Web Design and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the United Arab Emirates and foreign countries. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so through your account settings within the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties
Our liability is limited as set forth in our Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Service is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
